Pinnacle Plans New 32-Bed Residential Detox in Indiana

07/26/2015 -ATIN - Pittsburgh-based Pinnacle Treatment Centers, a fast growing treatment operation with ops in PA, NJ and KY, will break ground this week on a new 32-bed residential medication-assisted detox facility in Indiana, with more facilities planned for the state as well as Minnesota and Michigan, according to local published reports. Reports said ground breaking on the new facility, which will also have extensive outpatient capability, is much needed in Indiana's Wayne County - to be located near Cambridge City - as the area has no detox facilities with patients often referred to the Indianapolis area before returning for treatment.

Friday Groundbreaking Ceremonies

Ground breaking ceremonies are planned for Friday, which will be attended by Pinnacle's CEO Joe Pritchard. In a recent press release, according to local reports, the new 32-bed facility plans to open in Q1 2016 with employment hiring planned at 24 staffers, including addiction docs, nurses and masters level clinicians. Pinnacle now serves more than 9,000 daily since it's founding in 2006 by Dr. Ken Kessler, who recently passed on the CEO reins to Pritchard while remaining involved in the company he founded as its board chairman.
